If you’re a bit fuller through the hips, it could be worth trying a 1X as well, just to see which feels best on your body. Since you’re 5’, you’ll likely want to have it hemmed, which is super common. Any tailor can just trim the length and keep the original cover stitch, so it still looks exactly as it should. - That is a completely valid concern, Bridget! Our dresses feature flattering slim sleeves but the lace is soft and has plenty of stretch for a comfortable fit. As an alternative, the Celestial Cape Sleeve Gown, Symphony Lace Gown and Duchess Lace Gown all feature flirty flutter sleeves. Hope this answers your question!
- I was wondering about the color. I was looking at the "Leona" and this one, the "Maria". Both are labelled "nocturnal navy". The "Maria", as depicted, appears to be a couple of color wheel notches brighter. Is the nocturnal navy color on the Maria as pictured, or is it more like the color pictured on the "Leona"?
